Abstract · Summary
In my 2025 master’s thesis, I proposed “Infoborg” to examine how emotion, memory, and the body become data within cycles of extraction, computation, and self-reference. Drawing on posthuman theory, cybernetics, biomedia, and technological ontology, I analysed works by Weidi Zhang and Rodger Luo, Pierre Huyghe, Ian Cheng, LuYang, and Refik Anadol. The thesis considered how these works give form to information-based subjectivity, and explored questions of control, resistance, and self-formation under digital capitalism.
